Luke Dzwonczyk

Luke Dzwonczyk is a composer and creative researcher working at the intersection of artificial intelligence, music technology, and audio-visual media.

Currently pursuing his PhD in Music at UC Berkeley, he works closely with the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies (CNMAT). Luke's research focuses on using emerging technologies for artistic creation, finding ways that AI can be useful to artists through the creation of new systems and tools.

Luke's research has been published in venues such as the Journal of the Audio Engineering Society and the Digital Audio Effects conference. His music has been featured at the International Computer Music Conference and the International Society for Music Information Retrieval. He is currently living in Paris where he will continue his research and creative work at IRCAM from 2025 to 2027.
